Tapping featrure of touchpad will not stay off?

I have aToshiba A65 S126 Laptop. When I go into the control panel/mouse/device settings/settings/tapping/and uncheck enable tapping/apply/ok. The tapping stop working until shut the computer down when I reboot it the enable tapping is back to being checked. What can I do to permaently disable the tapping feture Thanks

FN + F9 or totally disable the touch pad. It's the best way to go.
