I am playing Sims 2 pets and a adopted a pup but if I don't put a collar on him he will run away, problem is that I can't figure out how to put it on him!

First you have to buy one. Did you put a pet store in your neighborhood? I like Pepe's Pets.. anyway. Once you buy the collar, have your adult Sim go to a mirror and you can "change appearance of.." and select the pets name.
