Why do liberals want America to fail?

Liberals do NOT want America to fail! As a matter of fact, liberals want America to succeed just as much as conservatives want America to succeed! And what liberals also want is for America to do the Right Thing, the real, genuine, honest-to-goodness Right Thing, and not blindly go along with whatever the President (who doesn't listen to anybody else) comes up with and wraps up in a bright colored box with a ribbon on top and proclaims to be the Right Thing! Now do you get the picture?
