Umm it is probably implantation bleedin which occurs when the baby is implanting itself in your uterus and usually occurs during this time. It could also be you body thinking it should have your period at this time. spotting in early pregnancy is normal .

My first thought is . . . . how do you know you are 2 weeks pregnant? It's usually at least 6 weeks before that's determined.
However, in answer to your question:
Not necessarily. It is quite common for a woman to spot, but you need to be careful and not over-exert yourself, at least until your see your physician.
I gave birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, and in the next couple of years, got pregnant twice, both resulting in miscarriages. HOWEVER -- THE GOOD NEWS IS ... when I became pregnant after these miscarriages, I spotted early on like you and my doctor prescribed a female hormone (Provera), which he called "baby glue" and had me stay in bed for eight weeks. I could only get up to use the restroom and to shower daily. I ended up giving birth to a healthy and lively baby boy who is now a Senior at Penn State University.
Don't get too upset right now and see your doctor immediately. God Bless - I hope everything works out for you.

I know this sounds cold, but at 2 WEEKS, there's really nothing to lose. As opposed to 8 more months of potential problems.
You can try again next month and chances are that you will have a problem-free pregnancy. Everything happens for a reason, so don't be too sad. The really great news here is that you CAN get pregnant. Best of luck.

Not necessarily, but you should get it checked out. If it's brownish it may just be old blood, but if red then it's fresh. Get it checked. You're looking after 2 of you now. However, plenty of woman spot at all different times during pregnancy and have perfectly healthy babies at the end. Are you cramping also?

I think you should see a doctor immediately. My wife lost a child and spotting is the first sign. Go to the doctor.

Many women experience spotting during pregnancy, so try not to panic. Definitely call your doctor, however, so that he/she can check you out and hopefully put your mind at ease.
Good luck!

If it's only spotting or even light bleeding you're fine. It's called implantation bleeding. Don't worry, it's very common. You can always call your doctor, he/ she can tell you exactly what's going on and make you feel more comfortable. Congrats!

Go to the doctor it may be nothing or it could be a drop in the hormone that lets your body know your pregnant if its the hormone it could cause a miscarriage.
