My dad used to have this game in his laptop way back when I was 12 or 13. (I'm 24 now). The object of the game was to help benny the bookworm find words to make a dictionary because the evil characters wanted everyone to be illieterate or something like that. I'm sorry I can't provide many more hints but it was such a long time ago. But I remember I used to love that game and it'd be great if I could find its name. Can anybody help please?

Name of the game is Word Rescue...according to this web page it is still being sold.
Might have to go to eBay if a store doesn't have it.

I can't help you with this one I looked online and couldn't find anything that matched what you said, But, I did find a game called BookWorm, that was similar to what you described you can find this game at www.popcap.com
