annoying - almost as annoying as a man, when announcing his wife's pregnancy saying, "we're pregnant" - no, you're not pregnant, your wife is! aklfakljsdlkfkljsd!!!

Very annoying - as is 'poo', 'tinkle' and any number of baby words related to bodily functions. Like another contributor, I despise 'hubby', and also 'sitting room', 'couch', 'supper' - all petit-bourgeois words that smack of smugness!

Thanks for opening this topic up - I have wanted to vent on this for a long time!

Annoying. I use it as profanity...it sounds profane to me. Its akin to saying "she got knocked up".
