With depts. such as the CIA and FBI that can find a needle buried in the depths of hell, I cannot understand why they haven't found one man...Bin Laden! The war has gone on for nearly 6 years now, the only compromise happening is the death of soldiers and civilians. Bush is looking for another 100 billion$$$ towards the war in Iraq... how many hungry mouths could be fed; homes built for the homeless and improved medicare systems could benefit from that amount of money?

Actually... it's kinda weird how his ratings approval is worded:

~ 43% of Americans approve of the way George W. Bush is performing his role as President.

~ 55% disapprove.

~ 19% of adults who strongly approve of the President's performance.

~ 41% of adults who strongly disapprove.

Confidence in the War on Terror has rebounded slightly:

~ 37% of American voters now believe the U.S. and its allies are winning.

~ 28% believe the President is doing a good or an excellent job handling the situation in Iraq.

Here's a fact for you: We went into Iraq, bombed the $hit out of it, arrested the leader, tried him, exeuted him... so we won, right? So why are we still there?

It's not 43%! that 43% includes 27% that "strongly" agree plus 16% that "somewhat agree". The strongly agree would follow him anywhere and do anything he said in blind obedience.

25% of the population are cooks? Do you mean in our own homes or in restaurants? Cause if it's in our own homes than I would have to say it would be more like 99%. Unless you eat out for every meal every day.

Everybody is permitted their opinion in this country. I personally think he's a chump. Others believe he's awesome. The idea is that you can have an opinion that conflicts with somebody elses opinion and still be on good terms.

Notice that the question called his supporters "cooks" while answer 1 implies that not supporting him makes a person non-American.

Either view is equally idiotic.

I dunno. I think he hasn't done too horribly, really. I thought the same about Clinton, too.Intriguing that I voted for both of them, no? This time, however, I am voting away from both parties. I don't see either of the Big 2 as doing much for America, anymore. So, the congress raised minimum wage. Wooo! Now my paltry $10.75 an hour is devalued.

Are you trying to say that people who cook food are 25% of the population, or was that a linguistic or grammatically challenged slip of the finger on the keyboard?

The 'cooks' are the ones who refuse to listen to CNN and Al Franken.
