why does my ipod nano say disk mode'?

i cant do anything to it?>its frozen it says inj the main screen disk mode wut this mean?

Why don't you try and restart it. How you do thet is you toggle the hold switch one or two times then hold the menu and center buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears.
