I am going to buy nail polish remover with acetone, to take the dried up glue from my fake nails off so i can use them again..
but doesnt acetone melt or dissolve fake nails?
Because i once had fake nails on, and i painted over them with nail polish and they melted..
thanks!

Acetone is what you use to remove your fake nails. I did this a few weeks ago and from what i saw acetone really is more for getting off the glue and not for "melting" or dissolve fake nails. It bubbles the nails up pretty bad though so if you want to use the nails again DO NOT remove them with acetone. Go to the pros at a nail shop and have them take them off instead!

I use it to take off my fake nail it does not melt of dissolve. I dip it in the acetone & then you just peel it off

if you overexpose them yes. if you place one in a jar with acetone it will dissolve. Using it to remove nail polish is fine

it never works, i have sat around for hours with my nails dipped in acetone but it does not work. i just pry them off with a pocket knife and then go get them re done

it will ruin them...it will make them sticky and you will have to take them off and throw them away..plus they will look awful
