It's not like my eyebrows are terribly thick or anything, but I want them to look nice. What is the best way to shape your eyebrows at home? I would like to stay away from plucking, because I get bored and it almost never works out. If you can help me... GREAT!

Awright... you're going to need photos so email me at knicolek74@gmail.com and I will try to get some to you.

Here's a description.

It's either gonna be plucking or waxing, because laser is too expensive for the average girl.

Plucking is your best bet- after a while you get used to it. Waxing hurts like a b*tch and depilatories don't work...

So here we go. Eyebrow 411.

Take an eyeliner in a bright color, like white or blue, and stand ready. Hold a pencil lined up from the outer corner of your eye at a 45 degree angle; where it passes through is about where your eyebrow should end. Put a small dot here with your eyeliner pencil.

For the arch, take your pencil and hold it so that it passes right down the center of your pupil but is tilted a bit to the corner of your eye. Put a dot just above your brow so you can see what you're doing and make sure it's lined up with the pencil you're measuring with.

For where your brow should begin, hold your pencil straight up from the inner corner of your eye and where it passes through is where you should mark.

Pluck any stray hairs on the underside of your brow and your top (there should only be a few) and then get down to buisness. You don't want to have a string attached to a block and tackle above your eye, so try to keep your brow at a fairly even width, tapering it off a bit towards the outside corner of your eye.

Draw what you want your eyebrow to be in the colored liner over your existing brow, and pluck it to shape. BE CAREFUL- this part will hurt a bit more, and don't take off too much- you can't put it back. If you want pics, email me...

I do hope this helps and doesn't leave you with half an eyebrow.

You will need to pluck stray hairs every three days or so- it's part of looking wellgroomes and being female.

Keep in mind- too skinny is bad!

The only way to possibly shape your eyebrow is by plucking, unless you go to a beauty parlor and get it waxed. I would recommend keeping your eyebrows as naturally shaped as possible. Simply pluck away any stray hairs that don't look like they belong. A nice point at the end of the brow is good too. They don't have to look fake and high in order to look nice.

Well I don't think theres any better way than plucking. What I did was let my eyebrows grow out, then draw in the shape that I wanted and just pluck around them you can also wax to clean them up.

shaping your eyebrows is really easy. first, take a white pencil and outline what you want your eyebrows to look like. the guideline is this. take the inside edge of your eye and go straight up, that's where it should start. go at about a sixty degree angle from your pupil, and that's where it should arch. take a forty-five degree angle from the outside edge of your eye, and that's where it should end. when you have it all outlined, pluck everything that's white and outside the line :) You'll look fabulous in about ten minutes :) and no, lol. it doesn't hurt at all :P
I know you're not a big fan of plucking, but this works :)

you can wax at home and I know places like Sally's and some regular stores have the "forms" that you stick on your eyebrow to cover the hair you want to keep, just make sure it stays in place, take your time, and if possible get a friend to help

If you don't want to pluck - get yourself a little personal hair groomer (~$10 US at drug stores). It is great for trimming the hair down to the skin and it even has an attachment for cutting long hairs to the right height without cutting them off.

Brush or comb them up, with a little dampening, and trim with a curved pair of medical scissors. You may need to pluck stray hairs. You can purchase the scissors at cottonballs.com.

You should go to a beauty salon to get it waxed or threaded, its pretty cheap, and its professional. Most outcomes are very nice and very clean!
