personally, i like rurouni kenshin.

I was just watching the Ruroni Kenshin movie last night. I used to watch it faithfully along with Yu Yu Hakusho on toonami! Those were the good old days. Ruroni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho is my top two animes of all time. Kenshin Himura and Karama from Yu Yu Hakusho personalities sought of favor each other.

I would say Inuyasha, but seeing as the series ended not to long ago I am not fixated on Samurai Champloo =D lol
Rurouni Kenshin sounds like a really good one, I want to see it so bad.
I also really like Tsubasa Chronicle, but I've only seen up to episode 4, and that was on youtube lol

I myself would say Death Note. Its different from most anime and it has the twist of the main character being the villian. You should watch. But Naruto is pretty good. I also like TRC (Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle) and FMA (Fullmetal Alchemist).

Oh, that's a hard question especially since I haven't even seen all the animes that exist. However, I would say that I like Naruto a lot. It has a lot of emotions and action as well.

Oh my gosh I love rorouni kenshin too!!! I really fell in love with the "battousai.."
I think for me the best anime is, "slam dunk."
Second best is rorouni kenshin! ^^

It really depends on my mood. Right now its:
Series : Elfin Lied/ Utawarerumono
Movie: Akira (sorry Im old school)
Frankly im quite surprised no one has mentioned EVA yet.
