A truly great American is one who, regardless of their own political beliefs, knows enough about the other side to realize that the proud touting of their own political party is worthless and will only incur the anger of the very people you should be working with, not against.

And yes, I am a Republican. I just don't see the point of furthering political stereotypes to the point where when a major disaster occurs, there will only be two parties tearing each others throats out, and America will be left in chaotic ruin.

A word of advice, my friend. Show respect to your opposition, and they will be more willing to see your point of view. At the rate you are going, you will only turn more people against your point of view, which I am sure is exactly what you don't want.

On a side note, it makes you look like a little child still nursing on their parent's beliefs without establishing their own. Please don't make people think badly of Republicans because of your intolerance.

No one is a "better American" because of their political affiliation. It's like saying that someone is a "better American" because they prefer turkey over ham. Both sides want to help America, they just have different ways to do that.

"I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times."

I'm sure you do, sweetheart. And so do the Democrats. You want your wall to be orange, they want theirs to be green. People just have different views of how this can be accomplished.

Believing that the Republican party is always right and better than the Democratic party in every decision is leading up to some major pitfalls in your life if you so happen to think that way. The "mine is better than yours" approach is so completely kindergarten material. Understanding and respecting each other--that's what people need to learn these days.

"FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government."

Yes, please observe the "I believe" in that statement. Just because you believe that orange is the best color for the wall doesn't mean that someone else is wrong, per say, in thinking that green will better help the situation.

"I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability."

Once again, so do most Democrats... and I've met a whole lot of Republicans that think I'm unequal for my sex.

"I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored."

Do I even need to comment on this one...? I would hope people are educated enough that I would not have to.

In conclusion, please keep your egocentrism in check, my friend. If you don't know what that means, please ask your local dictionary. It is a very good term to know. I do not mean to be rude or offensive, it is simply frustrating to see this “party war” continue on because people cannot learn to peacefully disagree with one another. It’s so sad, is it not?
