Why are people that promote their race that aren't Eropean-American strong and unified and those that are of European descent that do the same racist?

Why can I, as a European-American not have the same rights as those that are from other races?

Where is my European-American month??

I hate the whole "African-American", "Chinese-American", "European American", etc... thing. Either you're American or you're not. The majority of "African-Americans" have never been to Africa. My grandparents were from Switzerland and I have never been there. I am an American plain and simple.

Now, to answer your question. It is considered racist because anyone that is not Caucasian is considered the minority. White people had slaves 150 years ago and have not been forgiven yet. I never owned slaves. None of my family owned slaves. Africans were sold to white people by their own people. Unbeknown to a lot of people, every single race in this world have been slaves at one point or another. Personally I don't think that there should be a Black History Month, nor a White one, or a Chinese one or any one. It should all be written in the history books and celebrated as you want.

Or Asian History Month? OHHH! Here's one that rocks the best! Native American History Month. Why can't all of the "races" have a month?

I use quotations on the word race, because we are all one race, believe it or not.

Yahoo Answer Rat, my ancestors were brought to the New World against their will, to serve the English Crown, an entity they despised. If that isn't slavery, then tell me what is. American of Irish ancestry.

as I always say...

"the white man has suffered enough, we need more rights, more privilages, and the white women should be allowed to vote, I dream of a world where we can live together without being judged for the lack of color in our skin"

so you're crying because you didn't get a "month"... that's it... that's your big "racism" statement?

that's how you're descriminated against? well, I'm sure people in the future will make movies about your heroic struggle...

why is it, when European American complain about "racism"... it's always like the smallest, most pointless issues?

It would take a liberal to answer that, but they can't. That would be admitting something they caused is bad. Libs don't own up to anything. Where is my Native American month?
