Ok, just picture them all naked, that ought to do it. Not really, you don't want to be laughing your hiney off. Calm down, ask your mom or dad to take you out for a spin, and explains all the gadgets. Remember, there are no dumb questions, just dumb people. I'm sure that your teacher won't over load the class and spend a little one on one time. You'll do fine:)

It is good to be nervous. Driving is a huge responsibility. Young kids across the nation die every day in car accidents. Don't get distracted by the other people in the car. Focus on what the instructor and what he/she is telling you to do. Breathe deep and take your time. Stay focused on what is around you. Remember that you are not the only person who is learning to drive. The rest of your group is going through this too. Don't be afraid to ask the instructor questions. It is better to ask now then have an accident and wish you would have asked before.
As your parents if you can practice in an open parking lot with them. That will help relieve the stress and nervousness. Just feeling the car take off and steering in a parking lot will help you more than you can image.

Have mom and dad show you what's what in a vehicle before you go...this really helps. I was sooo nervous too. One girl in the car didn't know which way to turn on her left blinker or right and kept messing up. She even reversed so fast she spilled the driver instructors coffee all over him. I was sitting at a stop light when the guy next to me wanted to race...so when the light turned green...I took off squeeling the tires and papers went flying every where....but I won...took my mind off being nervous. Just relax...joke around...but make sure that if you don't know something ask...you can only learn by asking.

It's easier to learn with a bunch of kids at school than have either one of your parents teach you...they freek out to much. That's one job I'm not looking forward to at all.
