the obvious answer is that you are halfway there. So 3 more days. Total is 6 days for the trip. Unless you drive back, then it is 12 days total or 9 more days. It said you were driving across the country, but it didn't say you were moving so I guess you would have to come back. But I also didn't take into account how many days you were planning on staying. Since it said you were driving and not on vacation, I'll stick with what I said first.
the equation you were looking for is
3(2760/1380)=x (3 for the number of days already spent, 2760 for total mileage, and 1380 for how far you went (not how far you have to go)).
so 3(2760/1380)=x
3(2/1)=x
3(2)=x
6 = X is how many days the entire trip will take
