This nurse started working when she got arrested for kicking a cop. Drunk driving 2 times within 4 yrs. And have 3 children thats under DSS investigation for over a year. She has been a drug and alcohal user for years. Lived off the system did not pay a dime for nursing school because the state paid it while she stayed home and drank and got her nursing license and works in a nursing home. How can it be possible? Are they so hard up for nurses that they dont care that an child abuser thats a alcoholic and drug user can care for patients? They can not take care of themselves or their own kids, what makes you think that they can be safe nurses? Don't they do background checks on people? Is there a way to make other people aware of this. I would not want a person like that taking care of me or anyone I know. Really concern ! does anyone else feel the same?

She probably hasn't reported any of it to the board of nursing, which is required. If she didn't and they find out....she's in trouble!!!!! If she wanted to inform the board or if someone else happened to report her (anonymously) google " (your state)board of nursing" or "(your state) department of health". I hope you do the right thing!

yes they do, but if she did not get a DUI while she been a nurse there is nothing they can do. If she has not cause any harm to her Pt's. there is nothing they can do and as far as living off the system it is know way in hell she can live off the system if she is a nurse unless she's a LPN they don't make much or her bill are just too high and she get asst.

They do background check. However if you're already employed they cant do background on you anymore. Not unless this nurse got convicted for a crime or mistreated a patient that's when his/her license suspended.

My good friends know that they can confide in me. Not only because I won't breach their confidence, but because they know if I give them advice, I'll shoot straight with them. I won't sugar-coat anything. I won't repeat these things even if they forget to ask me not to. Having said that, I love a quote that Mae West once coined: "You start to keep secrets, and your secrets will keep you."
