What a strange coincidence! The first musical I ever tried out for was Annie! My suggestion is: you are the person who hears yourself sing the most. When do you get "in the zone" and sing your best? Try to recreate that at your audition, even if it just has to be in your head. Just close your eyes when you are preparing and envision the perfect singing conditions. Good luck!!

I'm very excited for you, like the other girl said just pretend you already know everyone in the audience, pretend you are standing in the shower singing into the showerhead. Good Luck.

just remember practice makes perfect. I was just like you when i auditioned for my first musical which was also annie. Just remember to relax and just have fun. it takes guts just to audition and if you don't get the part their are always others.
