I like Gage for the boy. Amaya is pretty. I knew a girl named Ruby growing up. She was very manly and meaner than a junk yard dog. So I just have a bad association with that name. But as long as you like it that is all that matters. Good luck with the pregnancy.

I like Gage and Kai. Ruby is ok, but I prefer Amaya or Indie. I would avoid Chhiya - I think people would take to calling her a Chia pet.

as far as the girl names, i love the name ruby. and you really dont hear it very often at all! amaya is pretty, and the other two i am not fond of.
congrats on your baby!

I like Xavier for the boy, and Ruby for the girl.
Unique, but at least something people have heard of.

For a boy I like Xavier (we've actually concidered it :D )
For a girl I like Ruby.
When picking names for our children we went over every part of it--how it all sounded together outloud, if it would "grow" with them (imagine being a 45 year old Bambi for example), and whether or not it would confuse anyone about the sex (we don't care for "uni-sex" names). Also, watch out for silly things the initials can spell. You wouldn't want it to spell something no-so-nice.
Congrats on your little one and good luck with picking the perfect name!
