At the age of 19 he has already become the NHL's best playmaker. Every other young star earns their spot by scoring goals. He does both.

To be honest it is because he comes from a large hockey lifeline-fathers, uncles , cousins etc. that are all amazing hockey players. He has this bloodline on BOTH sides of the family as both his mother and father's sides of the family (Troy-his dad was a Hab draft pick-played in the Q on Mario's team). His mother's side has tons of talent. He learned amazing hockey sense from all of them (except the part that can't be taught-natural).
Add to that the fact that his Dad REALLY pushed him. Always playing and working out. Started at such a young age too. Always the youngest on his teams but the best.
Well bred -well taught-and natural talent.

ken>>>> your the goof

Amanda>>> so your saying Crosby doesn't have the love for the game are you that dumb, the NEW NHL is going to be built around Crosby, Crosby is the real deal get it trough your thick skull. Crosby is on passe for 150 points if he keeps up and you know what he will have more points then Gretzky had his 2 year. so why you people keep putting such a great player down when hes was only 18 last year with an NHL team on his shoulders not even Gretzky had to do that. and he had a 102 points as the youngest ever in the NHL with that many points.

GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Dedication, determination, willingness to learn and make mistakes and practice practice practice. All in that order. His parents probably deserve all the recognition in the world too. Crosby is on pace to break the points record gretzky set as a 19 year old. If anyone has a chance to break any of gretzky's records it crosby.

He has two birthdays

Many know he was born on August 7, 1987, in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada

But few also know that he was born for the first time on December 25, 1 BC, in a small manager somewhere in Bethlehem

How many people get the reference?

Because the refs let him get away with calls and when he gets a lovetap, the Penguins go on the power play. Easiest way to market a player. Take a look at how the NBA marketed Shaq, Malone, Stockton, Iverson, etc, etc, etc. Bettman just took a page out of their book.

Open up your mind and watch closely at how he plays next time. I dare you.

I heard in his spare time he saves babies from rabid tigers, and then he eats the tigers live, and then he makes clothes for the babies out of the tigers' fur. ;)
