What kind of odor? It may be BV - bacterial vaginosis. You need an antibiotic for that.

Did you talk to a pharmacist when you went to get the cream and are you sure you used it right? i had a yeast infection and i tried the cream and it worked but you have to make sure that you use it properly. IF that did not work....be sure to go see the doctor about it. If it is an infection of some kind she/he can prescribe antibiotics for it obviously informing you as to what it is. Also, depending upon what other symptoms you have. If you have burning and itching along with the discharge and odour it may be a yeast infection that you tried to cure too late therefore the doctor has to prescribe something stronger to cure it properly. Yeast infections have a tendency to come back if they are not taken care of (if this is what you have of course) what tends to happen is they present themselves before your period and then after your period there is no sign of it however it will come back a couple of weeks after. I don't know if this helped at all but i thought i would give my input! Good Luck!

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:

Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

White like thick cottage cheese? Then you probably have an infection. Not all over the counter meds work, so you may need to see your doctor.
If it is like a light creamy look, sounds normal, and there is light odor to it.
However, for piece of mind, you should see a doctor. That way they can discuss what is normal, and what isn't.

You may infact have yeast infection and the drug store treatments may not have been strong enough to treat it. you may need a presciption drug. Your best bet is it see your OB/GYN and let them examine you and culture the discharge to see what in fact it realy is. Call your doctor today even if they are closed they should have an on call doctor that can help you.

offensive, colour and watery discharge with itchin and redness suggest of bacterial infection-sometime frothy.
white cheese like material with itchin is suggestive of yeast/candida infection.
just watery with mild odor is usually phsiological which may vary in the differnt stats of cycle/pregnacy...

I can't exactly determine what you have, you'd have to define "alot" more clearer. It is normal to have white discharge, don't start to freak out.
