I've been thinking about switching to OB because it would be better for the environment.

I prefer none of these. I always use 'instead'. I find it to be a far better system. You can even have intercourse while using 'instead'. I've been using them since they first appeared on the market and would never change.

It takes a bit getting used to, but I find it more convenient than a tampon. :)

I prefer Playtex or Tampax, those with the pearl-plastic tubes (Tampax are slightly better in terms of absorbency). They might be just a little bulkier to carry around than OBs but are much easier and cleaner to use. Tampax also come with carton applicators and paper wrapping.

I have Tampax compak right now, but I don't really like them, I am probably going to switch to Playtex sport. And ob, i think it would be hard without an applicator .... :S

Playtex, i like that the tip is plastic and shaped narrower so it gos in easy. even though it is said that ob is safer for the world you do not want to mess around with your vagina. if one feels more comfortable then the other go with the comfort.anyway if they can be flushed down the toilet then they are biodegradable and if you recycle your plastic bottles throw in the applicator.

Screw the environment when it's your time of month it's all about YOU and being confortable!! If you going to worry about the environment then use a cloth and wash it everytime. As far as brands...whichever one is most comfortable to you.

i like playtex
i tried to use o.b. before and it hurt really bad. i don't think i put it in correctly...
