okay listen im 5'5 im skinny but i have an hour glass shape and im in the sixth grade (12 yrs. old)

if the dance is formal, then i would get a cute dress from ross (unless you're planning on using it later....then go to dillards) dresses fit every girl in a different way, my best advice is just take a couple friends that would be nothing but honest && go shopping and just have fun tryin on a lot of cute dresses.
since it's just a valentines day dance, don't go too over the top and be all extravagent and such. just something cute simple and flattering =]
just keep those three words in mind while shopping:
cute, simple, & flattering.
&& HAVE FUN WITH IT.
Also remember, this is a sixth grade dance, don't buy anything raunchy and try and show off clevage and such, just buy something really cute, you'd look MUCH better in a dress that was a very flattering cut and such....rather then a very low cut dress that reveals too much.
don't stress tooo much over it, & yeah my advice is follow those words and have fun with it and you'll be worry free the whole night =]

okok im in the same grade and in the same predicament...here is what to do....if the dance is formal get a red dress or a pink dress wear heart earrings and ( if you want ) and some flat shoes ( high heels are an option to but make sure that there like stumps more than a pointy heel ) and a heart braclet and necklace...if you wear make up id say red lipstick ( if it matches your skintone ) or if it doesnt wear something that does ( as long as it doesnt clash with your outfit ) and now you are ready for your dance! hope you have a great time! you should where a dark jean skirt with a black shirt and one of those red belts that go aroud your waist youll look so cute especially with your body shape

wooww me too....well I wore this pretty pink skirt with a top that matches it then I put my hair into curls and I got my hair and make-up done. It was fun!!
