I recently broke my Easton Synergy Si-core and I was wondering which hockey stick would be best for me. I am interested in a Nike Bauer XXX-Lite and an Easton Synergy CNT. I dont take a lot of slap shots but i do like to roof it and stickhandling is a big part of my game. Thank you I appreiciate your help.

I'm in the same boat as you. I play for the University of Illinois hockey team. I'm a little smaller than a lot of the guys so I don't really have a slapshot that's very useful for the kind of game I play. My stick of choice is a TPS response pro with a little more flex than you'd normally get (If you take a ton of slap shots with it it'll crack though). Give the wrister a bit more snap and I love it for dangling.

I would suggest getting a shaft and buying replacement blades rather than spending a whole lot of money on a new composite stick. If your old stick is broken just above the blade, consider cutting off the jagged portion and fitting a blade into it. It will be a little bit heavier than it was before, but after a practice or two you won't notice a thing.

However, if you do have your heart set on getting a new stick, I'd recommend the XXX-Lite if you don't see yourself taking a lot of slapshots. The Easton sticks are good, but you'll like the feel of the Nike Bauer stick better. And if you really want a nice one-piece, find a good CCM Vector. I love mine to pieces, although I probably play more often with my aluminum shaft.

The best stick depends on what kind of player you are. Forward or Defense The best thing to do would probably stay with the Easton brand cause they have been real good about their sticks

get an aluminum stick and then go look for a eurocurve blade from easton, it super if youre a forward and like to go high.
the equipment doesnt make the player the player makes the equipment

if you like to stick handle and roof it, try a toe curve, i have an older ccm v100 that is very durable, I've had it for over a year and the blade is just now breaking. maybe one of those or a ccm v8.0 from www.thehockeyshop.com....thats the cheapest, so far about 120$ with shipping

Depends if you like shots that are quick and high then a good curve id recommend Yzerman or Datsyuk. of you like low hard shots towards the ice you want one with less curve i recommend hull. but if you want a combination of the two my favorite blade would have to be Shannahan. its good for hard low shots or you could also wrist it ( and has one heck of a snap shot), it all depends on you're style of play.
