He is probably one of the most real life athletic people. He did go 36-6 @ Minnesota and u can tell he would be a preety good wrestler in real life so y doesn't get higher like the WWE champ

It's mainly due to the fact that he's back in the tag team division. Wrestlers are more individually known when they're singles wrestlers. If Shelton Benjamin was still a singles wrestler, he's up there as one of the people main-eventing against John Cena.

Like one of the people said above...no charisma...great athletic skills only take you so far. Charlie Haas was a great college wrestler as well but doesn't possess the mic skills for the push. Kurt Angle was an Olympic gold medalist..but had the mic skills/charisma to make it in the WWE. Brock Lesnar...well, I think McMahon just got caught up in him being a big guy, cuz the guy was AWFUL on the mic. So to answer your question, unfortunately, I'm thinking when hell freezes over...unless he develops the mic skills

I love Shelton and he actually has a large fanbase, contrary to what you may see on television. There were rumors that Shelton isn't passionate enough about the wrestling business and wasn't dedicated to improving, so they stopped his push.
I think he may be getting back on track though and would love to see him and Charlie Haas win the tag titles.

He had his push, but has no personality skills. You only get to be big in the game if you can speak and carry your gimmick.
