Type II Supernova would make a good name for a chocolate bar. Either that or a 3-musketeers bar type supernova.

I think you'll find that the chocolate bars were named after the objects in the sky which in turn, when it comes to the planets, were named after gods of ancient Rome.

Usually many many people work for a company and simply think of what will sell. Selling is all that matters to companies. People think of catchy names and advertisements for this purpose.
For example, Milky Way chose the Milky Way as a name because it's short and catchy, and it's easy to use a swirl of chocolate to look like the galaxy.
SELL SELL SELL is all that's behind it.

But there are some chocolate bars (or brands) named after objects in the sky.
But I can only think of Mars, Milky bar and Galaxy. Don't like either of them.
GREEN & BLACKS is the best "chucklit" for me!
