Id recommend you to get it done by a professional just cause of safety reasons.

go to a pro && get it done professionally.
but if you're super hell bent on doing it yourself.
then boil a needle and make sure you wash your hands and wipe down the needle with rubbing alcohol after it moderately cools, then while your cleaning the needle, you'll want to numb the area...put an ice pack on the area you want to pierce and make sure that area is SUPER clean, germs are working WAYYY against you for this. haha. but anyway, pierce it and put the ring in, also, make sure the ring is as clean as possible. and keep neosporin on it. there's no sure way to keep a piercing from getting infected but there's more of a chance to get an infection from doing the piercing yourself.
it's you choice. follow those steps or let a pro do it for you.

You should have it done professionally,that way u dont bleed to death or get an infection.make sure if you get one you clean it three times a day or you could get blood poisoning or an infection.If you do it yourself you could pierce a vein that you cant see,or jus hit the wrong nerve/spot and it turn out not how you want it.

Go to or a professional, or like, ull be infected, and blood will be everywhere, and the pain of doing it ur self, you could put the earing in wrong, and ick. Just dont do it.

Shell out the 40 bucks or so and have it done safely, professionally, and santitarily by a professional.

Um.. ya really don't want to do it yourself, unless you work at like 'Claires' or 'Piercing Pagoda', because if it's not done right, (obviously) you could get an infection!!!

a saftey pin, thats cleaned good, and an apple slice on the other side. then put in the earing thing.
