Big-beyond your imagination honey-Supposedly the theory of the creation of the universe is that the big bang made everything in existence-The big bang came from a infinitely small singularity with infinite gravity that just exploded from nothing into existence--The reason may be because of the theory of 11 dimensions..It's way complicated-try looking in Wikipedia.

There is no beyond the Universe. The Universe is all there is. All the matter in the Universe has always existed, it was just once in an extremely hot and dense state. It expanded after the Big Bang and it is still expanding today. Current belief is that the Universe is at least 156 billion light years wide, but again, it is exapnding.
Here is an article about the big bang and the expansion of the Universe:

I asked this question before and my dad said it was because of the big bang. I believe it was an atom that split or something like that. But this was billions of years ago. The Universe is also expanding and will forever expand.

The universe is a manifestation created by your own mind.
Everything that exists is simply your own imagination, which means that once you're dead, the universe will cease to exist.

First of all, GOD created the universe and second there are explosions occuring all the time in the universe. That's how things get there and disappear.

matahari -- I think you missed a decimal point. The universe is 15.6 billion light-years in radius, not 156.
