Yes I can. It's the rock/metal songs that I have a problem understanding.

Most hip hop is not understandable if you are a first time listener. I have tried and failed to understand the lyrics ofsongs I have heard.
Why don't these hip-hoppers stick to good old fashioned rock & roll? You can understand what the lyrics say and it sounds good!

I understand most of it, except for some people like Nelly and 50 cent, Keak tha Sneak and Twista, But I mostly listen to Hip Hop 'cause I love the beat of the songs.

yeah. Well in most cases. For example, 50 Cent mumbles constantly so I can never just understand him without looking up the lyrics first. I can understand Eminem all the time...but then again he's white...don't know if that has anything to do with me understanding him tho- he could just speak more clearly...Llloyd and Lyfe Jennings- I can understand them. Akon- he drags words...don't know if you noticed that...so I had a bit of a diffuculty understanding him. But yeah :-)

Sometimes. It gets kind of hard when the music drowns out some of the lyrics. Since I have teenaged kids I can pretty much understand the slang.

Some people don't but you really have to listen to it.
Ill admit it some of them do be stupid.
I understand it though.
Some of them just make it to have fun some talk about real life like tupac.

um yeah. it's all about key words like ballin, krank, ghetto, things like that help you undastand them. i love hip hop. mostly the songs that are like that r rap or r&b
