Hell no! Do what the rest of us do: skip college and spend the rest of ur life working at the Abercrombie & Fitch.

Well, look at your financial situation. If you are completely independent and support yourself and your education by your earnings alone, then consider it. If your parents or other family members have paid your way to get where you are, then check with them about this. But you sound like you are old enough to make your own decisions. You need to play your cards right because it could cause family disputes, debt, and lifetime unhappiness. Why don't you look into going to art school part-time while working? It will be a gradual change and you can easily pay your own way through without debt & all that. If you have a good job right now, do not give it up yet! You have no guarantee that you will get a good job after art school and then you'll be stuck. Contact a financial or education counselor or something...this is not a small decision!
Hope this helps! ;)

I´m sorry but..only you can answer that question for yourself...but if it helps a little in any way...i think you should do what your heart tells you and what you think is best for you. You can make a career of art after going to art school too, you know...but if you think you´re not sure..then maybe you can stay with the job you have now and go to art school at the same time...hey, you´ve got all the time in the world, so dont pressure yourself into choosing...just give yourself some time...think really hard about what you really want to do..and then go for it. :)
Hey, i sincerely wish you the best of luck. I hope everything works out for you, just the way you hoped. :)

If that is what you are passionate about, go for it. If you're scared about it, try going to art school at night and keep your day job for the time being. You can gradually leave your career and get serious into the art world.

Or you could throw your art away and get a career. Do you have artistic ability? Can you draw a conclusion?

If you currently have a good paying job, I suggest keeping the job and taking night classes at a local college or art institution. If you feel you could make a living off your creativeness, go ahead, go to art school- but you have to remember about finances and if you could use your art skill in the future and make a living.

if that's what you really want to do...cuz you may regret not doing it now when your older...but if you care about making money you should be realistic about it too, but if its your passion and if it's what you really want to do then go for it! =)
maybe you can look at the possibility if both your career and art school on the side...its 2006...?

Wherever makes you happy....GO FOR IT! You deserve to choose what you like, no matter what people says.
Remember, you will do this for the rest of your life, so you better enjoy it!
The heck with everyone, and do it! We only live once.

Keep your job. There are no guarantees with selling your own art work.
