Yes you can!
It would of course depend on the reason you need it done. If its for a little flab then it will be down to you to pay for it, but if you have lost a lot of weight and have loads of excess skin then it can be done on the NHS. It can also be done if there are medical reasons or if you are suffeing extreme mental distress because of it (very difficult to prove that one though!).

If a doctor diagnoses you with a medical condition where the only resolution would be a tummy tuck then yes, you will get it on the NHS.

The problem is, I can't think of a single medical condition which would require that!

If your question is being asked purely for cosmetic reasons then I think you need to forget about the NHS route because it just wont happen.

See the attached link for a bit more info.

No as it is not a health issue and is usually considered an elective surgery. What I suggest you do is get a job, save your money and you will be so glad you did this for YOU!!! It will be something that you have done on your on and for yourself!! It is like setting a goal and reaching it. Nothing is impossible if you set you mind to do it. Now, get busy, find a job, and have the surgery. Set a time line for yourself and don't let YOU down. I wish you the best!!!

For strictly cosmetic purposes, probably not.

If you have lost a lot of weight and therefore have what is referred to as an apron of loose skin, perhaps. That's because it's difficult to keep such an area dry, and that means lots of problems in the area. If your circulation is impaired for any reason, such as diabetes, healing from such problems would be very difficult, and the repeated infections could threaten your life.

These days it's pretty unlikely but occasionally possible. If your problem is causing sufficient psychological stress, as assessed by a specialist psychiatrist then a plastic surgeon might be able to consider it

You can if you have lost weight and have a lot of excess skin or if you have had a hysterectomy and were cut on the bikini line, but only in the second case if you are mentally affected by it.

If it's proved for health reasons, then maybe. I had a breast reduction because of health reasons and the effects it could have had on me in the future.
