How much do you think they manipulate a situation or circumstance to steer it in a particular direction.

The amount of influence depends in large part on the person receiving the information. Some folks listen w objectivity & process the info in a manner that it's integrated w other things they alreadt knew.

Many others on both sides of an issue hearonly what they wish to hear, or that which confirms the opinion they already hold.

The media does have a great deal of power in general as they control what receives the most coverage, & by what reporter, & when it airs in a report.

For instance they show far more instances of violent behavior than of someone being a good citizen, because they know violence is what sells.

Too many people honestly believe that everything on TV/radio/newspaper/internet must be true....because they aren't "allowed" to lie!

I watched Anderson Cooper last night and i learned alot about whats going on in Iraq, Things i didnt know.
