I am 12 weeks pregnant and when I woke up this morning I had some brown discharge. I was wondering if anyone else had this when they were pregnant. And what their doc told them. I dont want any bull crap answers. I am serious about this. Thank you

Well the brown discharge was not so good for me. I called my doctor and he said it's either old blood from intercourse or the beginning of a miscarriage. When I wiped myself it was like brown blood spotting that was very light but continuous. The next day I found out I was miscarrying. If yours was a one time thing discharge than maybe it is something different. You should still call your doctor and have them do an ultrasound.

Its probably nothing to worry about. Like the person above said its probably old blood. I would still go to the doctor and get it checked out, but I can reassure you that I bled a little too. Its not unusual for a pregnant woman to bleed during the first few months. If these happens later on though it could be a sign of a problem (for example the placenta tearing away from the wall of the uterus), but like I said, since you are 12 weeks, its probably nothing to get worked up about :-)

well honey pregnancy is a sensitive matter especially if you want to have a baby. You should always see a doctor as it will not harm you but not seeing can.So why not opt for safe side. Moreover be cautious and careful as first three months are important in fetus development. One of my friend had it and did not go to Dr immediately she had a miscarriage. this is not to frighten you dear coz another friend of mine too had a brown discharge all through her pregnancy and had a healthy baby. I'd call your doc. for a check up , some women are known to bleed or even continue their periods while pregnant even still it is always best to be checked and be safe rather than sorry. Good Luck I hope it all goes well.

The brown discharge is most likely old blood. I had it during my pregnancy. I would call you Dr. and advise of your situation. He/She may want to see you to make sure all is good.

You do get that when you are pregnant. My sister in law had it and was scared, but the doctor says its common.
