I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser for the whiteboard at work. It took off all of the marker stains.

Hairspray 'unset' s ink, but if it has been there awhile, it may not come out. The Magic Sponge by Mr. Clean also gets off ink, crayons, whatever. It is my favorite cleaning tool now.

i got here across that they maximum perfect thanks to get rid of white board markers is to apply 409 cleanser. We had a previous board the following at artwork and that i washed it with 409 and it seems clean. It took a pair of tries, in spite of the undeniable fact that it really is as sparkling as a clean one and that i saved the organization about $one hundred by potential of attempting what we had below the sink.

non-acetone nail polish remover does wonders on whiteboards - that's what I used whenever someone mucked up ours with permanent marker.

This is the end-all answer, though it is repugnant to some,
wet a cloth, dip it into cigarette ashes and rub, you will be amazed at how easily it works!!
And no, I'm not kidding!
