I am 25 weeks pregnant and am noticing that from time to time I have lower abdominal pain mainly of the left side. It only hurts when I walk. It feels like it could be a muscle. If anyone can help that would be great
Thank you

Its probably just your stomach muscles stretching out making room for baby. I get the same thing and mainly when I am getting up from a sitting position or when I bend over. If it last for a long time or becomes intense or very painful go see your doc asap other wise just mention it at your next appointment.

Call your doctor and ask, or just wait until your next visit. However, I suggest that since you will be seeing your doctor on a regular basis, keep a journal and write down things you want to ask about and then take it with you each time and then you will have your answers written down and with you at all times in case you forget. It is a big help because being pregnant and getting ready for the baby will have you extremely busy. Hope all goes well and wish you so much happiness.

No this is normal (usually) but has been known to be the cause of a urine infection so its always best with anything to do with pain or bleeding to get it checked by a doc/midwife just incase! I had this when i was around ur stage and it hurt so much it made me cry!!! I couldnt move off the sofa but just ask to be sure...

I had the same problem when I was pregnant. It's just your uterus muscle on that side (or that's what my dr. told me) the best thing to do for it is to just rub it and stretch it. It probably hurts because you're trying to do too much. That's mainly when my started hurting, or when I would lay on that side too much.

Could be the round ligament. If it was the right side I might say the sciatic nerve. Double check with your doctor or midwife but it sounds like normal "growing pains"

I'm 23 weeks with my second child. My doc calls these "stretchy pains." They result from your uterus stretching to accomodate a growing fetus. They're very normal. Just don't reach too far or bend too much and everything will be fine.

Mention it to your doctor on your next visit. Probably nothing though.
