Wes Borland, Adam Jones, John Petrucci, and Tom Morello. Before you get on my case about Wes Borland, listen to some of the stuff he's done outside of Limp Bizkit. Black Light Burns, Eat The Day, Big Dumb Face, work with The Crystal Method, The Damning Well. He's an amazing musician.

Stevie Vai, and Eddie VanHalen...Those are the 2 best I have ever heard. Jimmi Hendrix WAS the ultimate, but a little before my time. Oh and I forgot about Eric Clapton, he has been phenomenal as well.

Here they are :
Jeff beck - the genius man on earth who play guitar until now, and he never leave his root until now, he keep rockin'.

Yngwie johann malmsteen - this man is the man behind mixing the classical music with metal music, ouch very cool music.

Marty friedman - his speeding and accuracy is really very cool to listen to.

Joe satriani - the teacher for some guitarists, and he can be in many different kind of music, and he always keep his harmony in all music that he produce.

Gary moore - another genius musician in guitar world, he also never leave his rock music even he play blues music, but his rock elements always appear.

John mclaughlin - one of the greatest guitar player in this world, mix some jazz elements with classical music and then he explode it with distortion through his guitar to rock the world.

Anyway i love also the 3 guitarist that you said. They are masters in music.
