I've had all of the symptoms of pregnancy from the sore breasts to missed periods from nausea and extreme fatigue and now would be 21 weeks and have started to develop a bump. It actually is pregnancy bump shaped and not just fat. I've taken 4 pregnancy tests all with mixed answers but I didn't take them until I was 4 months and the midwife said they do no always work after this time. I have also felt the baby kicking but now I'm not sure if this is a real pregnancy or my mind playing tricks on me.

I would just like to say I am highly offended by that comment. If you had actually read the question properly you'd know that I'd taken 4 pregnancy tests and I have actually seen 2 midwives. I am also making an appointment with the doctor tomorrow and just for your information I got straight a's and b's in 14 gcse's so I would actually just shut your mouth because comments like yours really don't help.

You might indeed be pregnant. If those tests that you took gave you ANY positive results then you're pregnant. Some tests are much stronger than others. With my last baby, I took one of about every kind there was and got mixed results, but I was indeed pregnant. Any positive result means you're having a baby.
You might want to check out this web site and read all about pregnancy tests. They've done alot of testing and there are women who actually can be pregnant and not have a positive test until MUCH later in pregnancy.
Good luck and i'm glad you're going to go see a doctor soon. That will help clear things up for you 100% ~ in the mean time look at this....http://www.peeonastick.com/hptfaq.html#1

I'm 21 weeks pregnant, should the baby kick back?
I was told that it increases bonding with the baby if you poke your stomach when it kicks you so I figured that if I prodded my stomach that the baby would kick back but it's not. Should it?

This question might sound confusing...and help from guys would be greatly appreciated?
Right so I went out with this bloke for nearly a year right and he used to be mates with my current boyfriend but I've just found out I'm pregnant with my old boyfriend's baby. I'm 4 months and there's no way I'll get rid of it even if the father doesn't want anythikng to do with it. But my main concern is telling my current bf. Not only am i pregnant but he used to be mates with the father. He's not now infact he hates him so I'm really worried about telling him coz I think he might leave me. I just want to know from a lads point of view (girls advice welcome too obviously) what you would do if you were in his situation.

Why hasnt anyone done a ultrasound?

If a pregnancy test said positive well you are pregnant even if a couple said negative but like you said they may of been ineffective

But again why hasnt anyone done a ULTRASOUND?

20 weeks is 1/2 way and babies are just about fully developed at that point, it's just the finer points from here on out and the details - you'd be past that. Also, you should've had 2 ultrasounds by now... There's an actual picture there for you to see a baby or not see a baby. By this time, it's very possible that the baby is kicking HARD and obviously - someone else should be able to feel it through your skin.

Honey, for goodness sakes, go to a real doctor and find out for sure what is going on and then go from there. Regardless of who delivers the baby, ie the doc or the midwife, you still need prenatal care. You must take care of you in order to take care of anyone else, especially a baby. Now go make an appointment and find out for sure, instead of sitting around wondering what if's. Hope all works out for you!!

I've actually heard of this before. I'm in my second pregnancy and was sure of both lof them by week 2, but my sister was six months pregnant with her third child before she ever knew it. She also had mixed results with home tests. Please see a doctor soon. My sis has now been diagnosed with lupus.

If you have had a positive pregnancy test, you are pregnant. Why don't you go to the doctor?

Omigosh, go see a doctor!!! They can do an ultrasound and actually visualize your uterus and see exactly what (if anything) is in there.

They will do a blood test and most likely an ultrasound. Then you will know!!!

A blood test and ultrasound will be all you need to solve the mystery.

Have you seen your doctor? Blood tests as well as a manual exam will answer your question.

Good luck!
