ditto first guy, sit with your two sons and discuss the steps that lead to this decision. Then you will know for sure whether the move is good or bad and whether you should drop it or not. The move has been made and you can still do something about it, but also notify the courts because there's no need in giving the mom money if the son is being supported by his brother. Maybe your support could go directly to the bills occured in his new living arrangement.

Im sorry this happen to you it was wrong of them to hide that from you. Sounds like the mother didnt think it would last him living with his brother or she likes getting the money herself. Its sad that you will have to pay more money to get this fixed. Look at this way you only have a few more years and he will be adult and you dont have to deal with your ex as much.
Going thru the same thing with my husband but in the state that he used to be from if one child leaves the home you cannot get it reduced until the youngest is 18. I think maybe your hurt also that your son wasnt honest. Could he be covering for his mother? does she have a drinking or some type of problem that forced him to leave.

you need to ask a lawyer or the law on this one i know it ga that a child can move out a 17 .. but 15 is a nono unless parents agree to it.. but you should not be paying your ex for support if the child live with a older brother.. you need to tell your ex that the older brother will be recieveing the money... i will just bet you she make your son come home pronto

How old is the other son? will he have buddies over, girls, parties, beer? Will he be home often for proper supervision? Legally you have every right to take your ex to court!!! And Win!!!! It could get nasty though. Every 15 yr old thinks they are an adult. Your ex won't want to admit she couldn't handle the situation. She probably don't want to part w/ the checks either.

Did he move out on his own or was he encouraged by his mother. If it was the mother I would see my atty about getting full custody.

you probably have a case against the mother but it will create many problems.
