I recently downloaded Google Suite, I think. Could that be the problem? These issues seemed to start after I downloaded it.,

for sure sounds like it may have been the download that reset your ie settings: Always back track: do you save a system restore point?

Uninstall the Google suite, reboot and see what happens:

then also use that system restore point if you have one.

make sure you have java and flash correctly installed, also run windows update and reboot your computer
