Never heard of Candi Staton and I havent heard their version but no one could sing that song better then Elvis. That was one of my faves from him! :)

Fine Young Cannibals did a great cover of this song. I love the french horn parts... My favourite Elvis song...

i like the version by dwight yolkum. the one by elvis is good too.
i guess i like the one by dwight because i grew up listening to it. my mom always had something like that playing in the background, and my bf now has a band and they play that song a lot because the people in the crowd really like it.
