No child would form because a human has 23 chromosomes while a gorilla has 24, one more than a human. The genes of the homologous pairs would not match up during zygotic formation, so no offspring would be able to survive. Sorry, no cross breeds of human/gorillas can be created, but other combinations that match have been made. Examples include the liger, the wolphin and of course, the mule, which is a cross between a horse and a donkey.

well for one we would have a new species and it would be somewhat smart but not as smart as the average human because the breeds are crossed. It would probably still be pretty hairy but could walk up right and still have some gorilla characteristics but the child would be made fun of unless the population became large enough that it was normal like seeing a asian in america its kinda different but there population gows so now its not a big deal no offense to asians

Humans have 46 chromesones. 23 pairs each. Gorillas have 24 pairs. i know its close but there is no way these two will be able to go together naturally. All there will be is jumping of viruses from one species to the next and virus adaptation occuring. (This is the case with the marburg virus)
Though people nowadays will do any thing.. It is probably possible to induce it.

Nothing. There is no chance at all that the sperm of man would combine with the ova of a gorilla or visa verse. Would be like trying to mate an dog with a cat. Just is not gonna happen.

it's impossible for two different species to interbreed. That defines a species. If the case is something like a mule, which is a horse and donkey mix, then the gorilla human kid would likely be aborted in the fetus, or die in youth, or be sterile.

There is a such thing! Except it is a "disease" called afarensis. People with this kind of disease are sometimes short, have a low voice, or may have other gorilla-like traits and/or "genes". i think they are somewhat related to the Neanderthals (Early cavemen who looked like us and who scientists thought were our past people, but were wrong. The Cro- Magnons were.)

That's too easy: someone who appears to be vaguely human but is intellectually challenged to the point where it would insist that evolution couldn't possibly be true because "the Bible says so," and if you disagreed it would feel justified in killing you.
In other words, a religious fundamentalist.

Disregarding the fact that this is actually not possible, I think it would be a pretty bad idea. Gorillas are dirty cud eaters.

For a start, the everyone would make fun of the human. I mean, where's their dignity?
Secondly, fertilization would not occur, since the chromosomes do not match enough. Even 99% isn'y close enough.

Biologist here.
Sorry, no child would result from that.
We're just too different from gorillas.
