Cloth! leather is cold during winters and ur back sweats like anything on a leather couch in summer, its scratched easily, ull hav to dust ur leather couches often and it doesnt give a cosy warm feeling to the room...cloth is much more practical and uve a whole lot of variety to choose from

I only have a leather couch bec my hubby had to have a black leather couch! He forgot that we have a cat so now our leather couch has little scratch marks and little cat nail holes in it. MEN!?

I agree that they are nice looking and smell good. I really don't like it when I stand up and stick to the leather type. I prefer cloth.
