i got home today and couldn't find the keys to my house, and i didn't have my phone.i had to walk a mile to get to a phone so i could call my mom, who had a key to my house so she could let me in. meanwhile, i was locked outside in the freeezing cold for over an hour!

i've been through worse too... but i know people who have been through worse than that, so yeah, this is pretty much just a random question...

That is so sad, it is very cold today too. Hope you find your keys. Yes, I did this but I was much younger and had to skip lunch just wait until I could walk back to school and finish the rest of the day then went home and waited for my Mom to get home from work.

I've been locked out in the cold without a phone. I had to jump the fence to get into the backyard where the spare key was. (It was my dad's dumb idea to put the key in the backyard rather than somewhere in front of the house.) And it turned out the key wasn't there because my dad had taken it. So I had to wait out in the cold for three long hours before my dad finally got home from work.

No, but once i accidentally shut my dad, me and my sister out of the house and we couldn't get back in and it was snowing. My dad had to walk up the lane in slippers since he'd just gone to get something from the garage outside. I don't think he was too pleased when he got back.

NO! This has never happened to me before! I always carry the keys with a key-chain so I know where to find them

Use to happen to me all the time. I hide a key now. Bad though when I can't remember where the key is.
