Honestly, Merrick reminds me of my fav movie of all time: Top Gun but not in a good way if its for a girl.

It's more of a boy name...but you do give it a girly touchwith the middle name Jane. It's your call, but I don't like "merrick' for a baby girl.

I just saw a woman on Montel w/ the name Merrick. I think it's original and unique.

Merrick sounds very masculine to me I would not use it on a girl.

I think it is awfull!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to go through life with a weriod name it's not fun.
Leave off Merrick espically if it's a girl
