If she bled while having sex that probably means that she was a virgin. Being a virgin dosn't make it any less or more possibe to get pregnant. If you didn't use a condon you probably should have, so if shes not already pregnant, PLEASE use a condom next time or your probably going to be a daddy.

Hi there. I just wanted to add my input to the answers that you have already gotten.
If your girlfriend was a virgin that is why she had the bleeding. If she was not a virgin then it just means that she started her period. Actually, considering your concerns it would be preferable if she had just started her period....less likelihood that she could become pregnant. Since your worry is that she could get pregnant I am going to answer your question under the assumption that you did not use birth control. I don't think you would be asking the question if you had.
BTW, just for the record, the bleeding that your girlfriend experienced in no way protects her from pregnancy. That is unless it was actually her period in which case the odds of pregnancy drop dramatically.
Of course if she was starting her period I am sure she would tell you so that you would not worry about her being pregnant. If she has not told you then I guess we need to assume that she was a virgin.
It is too late now for you to undo what happened. Promise yourself that if it does happen again you will be prepared the next time and be sure to wear a condom.
You might want to talk with your girlfriend about the "morning after" pill. If you are truly concerned that she could have gotten pregnant then this would be a good idea. It is certainly better than dealing with an abortion or a baby. You do not have a great deal of time to decide whether or not you want to take this step as the pills must be started within 72 hours of intercourse and then another dose is taken 12 hours later. This emergency form of treatment is 80% effective. I have no idea what state you live in or how old you or your girlfriend are so I can not tell you whether or not she would be able to buy this medication without a prescription. Since it is now Friday, unless she has a doctor that she can call it may be difficult for her to get the medication in time. It is possible that she could obtain it by going to the emergency room but there again it depends on where you live and how old your girfriend is.
Aside from that I want to tell you that the odds of getting pregnant from a single act of intercourse vary from 0 to 20%....those are not very high odds but the point is, it COULD happen.
If the two of you decide that you would like to opt for the morning after pill you do not have much time to wait. You may not be able to procure the medicine soon enough as it is.
That being the case, or if you decide to pass that option, all you can do is wait and hope for the best. It might make both of you feel better if the two of you talk about where your girlfriend was in terms of her menstrual cycle. In the best case scenario you would hope that she could tell you that she is supposed to start her period any day. Since ovulation occurrs right in between the period that she had last and the one that she is expecting that time would be the worst case scenario. I am not trying to give you more to worry about I am just trying to give you some idea of just how worried you should be. In my professional opinion it is unlikely that your girlfriend will become pregnant from what happened on Wednesday but you and your girlfriend are the ones whose opinions matter. If you find that there is a good chance that she was ovulating I would give serious consideration to trying to get the morning after pill. Good luck.
If I can be of any help to you contact me at Lady_Trinity_9@yahoo.com I will write back.
Take care and I will be thinking of both of you.
Blessings
Lady Trinity~

she bled because she was a virgin. Depending on her menstrual cycle and if you had protection is if she gets pregnant. Ask her hoe long is her menstrual cycle and when was the last time she had her period, the exact day. Then count that as day no. 1. At the middle of the menstrual cycle there are 5 days where she can get pregnant, for example: if her menstrual cycle is of 28 days, then she can get pregnant on days 12 - 16. Count starting on day 1, as I told you and if you had sex during days 12- 16 there is a very big chance she is pregnant if you had unprotected sex.

well if she bled, it means that u "popped her cherry", and there is a likely hood that some1 could get pregnant even if u wear protection, but its just real low.

if you used a condom most likely she wont, only if it didn't break, but if you didn't use a condom then she could become pregnant. most likely what happened was you broke her hymen (popped her cherry) and it bleeds when it is broken.

it is possible, and it's also not too late to get her the plan b pill! it's not an abortion and you can get it at a pharmacy if you're over 18. if not go to the doctor or planned parenthood right away to get it, because she needs it by tomorrow.
