i say if you have given him a child....thats the best gift of all. let him spend time with the child on valentines day. plan something special for the two of them to do together.

Are you two still together? If so, then a home cooked dinner, some nice cionversation and....well, you know. You have a child with him already.
If you're not still together, then how abhout something that the child makes. Or, maybe a nice frame with a recent picture of the child in it.

If you are no longer with him I would suggest getting a card from the child for their father (one of those cute kid cards) have them do their own artwork inside it and have your child make valentine cookies or a valentine themed art project for him :-)

"Cater" to him. Run his bath water. Cook. Clean. Make sure you look good. Give a message. And whatever else he likes. Oh and play Cater To You while you cater to him. That's only if you're still together.
If not just tell him Happy Valentines Day.
