Firstly, ignore what all the other ignorant idiots are saying to you. You are obviously wanting to get pregnant otherwise you would still be using birth control. Only YOU know when you are ready for a baby and people seem to forget that up to 20 years ago most people were married and pregnant by the time they were 18-20. It is only within the past 10-15 years that women are getting careers and leaving pregnancy till their 30's 40's BUT IT IS THEIR CHOICE WHEN THEY HAVE KIDS SO WILL PEOPLE STOP GIVING YOUNG ADULTS A HARD TIME!!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest!!

The best advice i can give you is to take prenatal vitamins if you are serious about getting pregnant and to start charting your temperatures so you can predict your ovulation date more easily. There is a window of about 5 days when you are more likely to get pregnant but this can vary from month to month if you have an irregular cycle so charting is the most reliable way of predicting ovulation. You can also use ovulation testing kits (ebay sell some really cheap and accurate ones in bulk that are similar to pregnancy tests). I fell pregnant first time with my son but it took 6 months of trying this pregnancy and the last 3 months i charted and realised i was way out on my fertile days (my son is 4 now and i am late 20's). You are at the optimum age for pregnancy so if you try seriously for 12 months with no result then a doctor will refer you for fertility tests quite quickly. It is best to check the man first though as they can do one test that covers all aspects of motility and sperm count.

Good luck and i hope you succeed soon! Just remember to have fun while trying and relax. We finally conceived when we were mildly tipsy so I'm sure that helps too LOL!!

look just stop trying and it will happen and if not then you both see a fertility Doctor then may be he'll give you answers and then your only 18 years old you know no matter what age range someone is there never ready for a baby but being 18 years old just think that is when your life is barley starting because now your legal and you basically can get up and go with out a worry or doubt in mind Think about it I was 17 when I had my 1st and then 19 when I had my second now I'm 22 and on my third and between all those years till now i rarely get a chance to go out with out having to find a baby sitter its like when i 17 with my first i had to grow up over night i had to get a good paying job and i was still going to school i mean i just think having baby's at a young age is hard but its always hard anyways I'm just saying think about it more than once

Sounds like its been going on for a while you could see a docter but because your not sure if youve been doing it on your fertile times shell send you away for six months to do your morning temps and ovulation kits and youll be doing on that day to see if it happens or not if you want a baby that is if you dont shell just put you on the pill,If nothing happens after this the docters will be willing to test you both further and see if your encountering problems.but if its less than a year its been happening for try not to worry lots of woman think getting preg is as easy as 123 but when they start trying find it isnt!

First things first, start taking prenatal vitamins. You need to start taking them at least three months before trying to conceive..these help prevent serious birth defects like spina bifida..
that said, go to your doctor and ask them. Make sure everything's ok with both u and your partner. Get tested. Some STD's can cause you not to get pregnant and could permanently damage the sex organs in both of you.
Then go to babycenter.com search for ovulation calculator, it'll tell you what days during your own specific cycle you are most fertile.
Good luck!

If your cycle is about 28days then you should be fertile on day 14. Your cycle starts on the first day of your period, so if you are looking to get pregnant, then having sex on and around that day should be the best time. The egg of the woman only lives for 24hrs, whereas a mans sperm can live up to 5 days inside you.

there could be a lot of things going on. I've been trying for 3 months now and haven't conceived yet. so i asked my mother-in-law about what the problem could be (she's a nurse) and she told me that her brother and his wife tried for 7 years and finally had a baby. She said that the doctor told her sis-in-law that she had to lose weight in order to conceive... I've never heard of this but that's what their doctor said. her husband also had a low sperm count, and that they couldn't have sex everyday because his sperm couldn't make it to the egg. so they only had sex on her fertile days. i often wonder if something is wrong with me, because my mom's two sisters had baby making problems... they all have endometriosis now. I dint think you are getting pregnant because you are not doing it on your fertile days... about 10-11 days after your period starts. i thought it would be so easy to conceive.... but it really isn't. I heard a bunch of old-wives tales about how to get pregnant... like eating yogurt, having sex halfway off the bed- just silly stuff. the best method of having a baby though is to have sex on your fertile days. that is the foolproof method. good luck and God bless!

PS I was 18 when my husband and i got married and we can't be happier! =)

The days of Women's cycles can be between 28-45 days, out of these days you can only conceive in 3-5 days of them, this is usually in the middle of your cycle. For example if 28 days its usually around day 13-17. If you are trying to get pregnant, you should go for it more on these days..take care

getting pregnant isnt has easy as everyone makes it out to be. your uterus has to contract(organism) in order for the sperm to reach where it needs to go. it acts like a vaccum, a point goes down form your uterus and sucks what ever is at the bottom of your vagia cannula. look in to more if you need more answer. good luck, im in the same process:)
