What do you think about Mexican people in GENERAL?

Very nice and generous people with a strong sense of familial relationships.

They are human beings like people everywhere. They try to better their circumstances by whatever means possible. If that means leaving their land of birth so be it. Others have done it before.
You may not like it but you can hardly blame them.
Then in two or three generations, they integrate and behave just like all the other (americans, canadians, australians.) I write this from Australia where recently the government privatised the telephone system and they imported an american called Trujillo (and he does look slightly mexican) to set up the private telephone company. The end result was that the local shareholders got royally s c r e w e d as a result of Mr Trujillo's policies.

In general? Geez, how can I know? I've only met about 5 or 6.

Those I happened to meet, well out of 6 of them, I met 5 who were really nice good quality friends and one was a jerk I'd love to ship back to USA. (I'm Canadian.)

Culture is pretty nice in terms of being lively etc.

To be honest, they don't occupy much of my thoughts. They are people, I am people. It really doesn't pose as a controversy for me. Usually my head is filled with important things...like AIDS.

But I like the food.

Probably not ready for self government. If they could form a fair and honest government they would not all want to be coming here.

They're okay. I think most of them should be more concerned about obesity though ~ and the belly rolls/ tires.
