I have tried sticky traps, raid and other sprays. They just keep coming out. Is there a way to kill the eggs as well? Perhaps a chemical bomb?

Yes, true you have to throw every open package away and clean thoroughly with a household cleaner (I prefer bleach and water. One cap full per gallon of warm water) but when you do restock, make sure to invest in some plastic containers with tight fitting lids. I bought several that will accomodate 5 pound bags, such as flour, sugar and rice, and a couple of smaller containers for dark and light brown sugar and confectioners sugar. They stack up nice and also make it much easier for me to keep my cabinets organized and bug free. Make sure you clean your cabinets on a regular basis . I haven't had a problem since I started doing this. By the way, I don't care what the labels read, I would never use any of those products in my kitchen.

You'll have to remove EVERYTHING from the infested cabinets, thoroughly clean the shelves, sides and door insides with a good household cleaner (like Lysol) mixed with water and...here is the important part....THROW AWAY EVERY PACKAGE OF FOOD in the infested cabinets. The eggs are in the food, and will continue to hatch and breed.

Good luck.

Both are great answers. Just a piece of info. After I did this to my kitchen I reached for the jar of peanut butter. Remember, this is a jar with a lid that was screwed down tightly and properly. Guess what. It was filled to the top with larvae. Can't figure out how they got in the jar.

First of all, you have to throw away anything is a box or bag in the cupboards. Then disinfect the cupboards well and restock your groceries.
