Ok! I got my belly button pierced about 7 years ago and never had problems with it until recently. A few months ago my belly button was super sensitive in the inside. It wass the weirdest feeling and I asked my Dr. She said that it could be a nerve or something like that. So i let it go. I sucked up the uncomfortable feeling for a few days that it lasted and I was fine. 2 months later same thing happened so I took it out to let it breath or something for like 2 days. I've been trying to put it back on for the past month and it won't go through at all. I have tried my regular earings and they go through so it ain't completely closed but what could it be. It's been 7 years I had it on without taking it out. DO i Have to repearce it again? Please help, my tommy looks weird without it>

Its not healed over, just go into any peircing place and get it streched, it has just tightened up a little bit from not having a ring in it for a bit. i've peirced before and seen many people with this problem, and i have had the same with my lip ring. most places will do it for free or for a small charge. hope this helps you.

Does it look weirder than it did with the ring plus an infection? If yes go get re-pierced. If not quit while you are ahead.

i dont know for sure but maybe your body has gained some weight and so you belly is filling out... ask your dr again maybe she will see something different this time...
