I need to insert a watermark on to some jpeg graphics of my own copywrited images. I thought I knew long ago how to do it in Adobe Photoshop, but all I could find in that program was the Digimarc watermark. Unfortunately, the Digimarc registration (which is the only way I could find to insert even my own watermark, much less one given to me by Digimarc) costs at least $49. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

In Photoshop, just add a text layer and reduce the opacity to 30%-50%... Then us Ctrl+T to change the positioning if needed.

You should be able to use "insert" and select "Object" When doing this you can also select "display as icon" which puts the icon image in the document so that the reader can click on it and open the pdf item as another document in a new window separate from your word doc. Using copy and paste from pdf to word will distort the original pdf file to whatever margins / etc you have set in the word document. Hope that helps a little bit.
